Delphinium tricorne Michaux — Dwarf Larkspur

Habitat:

Rich, moist forests, especially over mafic or calcareous rocks, less commonly on very fertile alluvial deposits. The flowers are variable in color, usually a deep bluish violet, but ranging through pink to pure white.
